Zoukenergy is a place where you can be you. We all have fears, identities and the desire to be liked... this is a retreat where you truly experience, that the answer to your dream is inside of you. Is in letting go of what you think needs to happen, and embracing the dance of life.
We are here to learn, to love, to serve, and Zoukenergy is the playground for this to happen.

"Textures of Truth"
The next Zoukenergy retreat Textures of Truth will take place from 11-22 July 2026. The schedule is:
11th July | Brazilian Zouk Level 1a (crash course)
12-19th July | Textures of Truth (main retreat)
19-22nd July | Transformation Stage (post retreat)
If you have never danced Zouk before you must attend the crash course so that you can understand the very basics of Zouk and partner connection. From this introduction you will be ready for the main retreat.
Zoukenergy retreat is not about learning new steps and structures of dance, it is about applying embodiment wisdom to the dancer inside of us.

Zoukenergy gave my life a new meaning. The retreat was a profound and magical experience for me, filled with love, dance, connection and play. I softened my soul and opened my heart to feel myself. I faced my fears, stretched my comfort zone and felt supported by the community. It felt like a year went by in a week. It was one of the most profound and life-changing weeks of my life.

At first I was in resistance, I didn't feel like so much programme, so many rituals. Above all, I wanted to dance! But the rituals transformed my dancing, opened my heart and gave me so much safety. Jonny managed to create a space that went deeper and deeper every day. I think that's what touched me the most, to experience how much respect, esteem and presence there is between men and women, and how sexual energy can flow freely and still be much safer than in the outside world. I've never experienced it like that before.

Participating in the Zoukenergy event was life-changing. The experience was like a rebirth for me, both in dance and in my sense of self. The atmosphere was electric everyday, and each workshop and ceremony allowed me to peel away layers of doubt, revealing a new - more confident me that I haven't experience like this before. It was the kind of confidence that is from deep within myself. I left the event feeling recharged in my body and refreshed in my sense of connection to the world.
